Mānuka Studio began in a small woodshed in the suburbs of Auckland, New Zealand. Founder Matt, a professional carpenter and builder, found himself with extra time during the 2020 lockdowns and decided to channel his lifelong passion for woodworking into a small creative venture.

What started as a simple idea soon grew into something more meaningful. Together with his partner Amanda, Matt has slowly built Mānuka Studio into a small family-run business dedicated to crafting high-quality handmade wooden products in New Zealand.

Today, Mānuka Studio focuses on creating timeless, functional pieces that celebrate natural materials and traditional craftsmanship. Each product is designed and made with care, with a strong emphasis on sustainability, using premium timber and recycled New Zealand hardwoods wherever possible. Built to last, every piece reflects a commitment to quality, durability and responsible making.
